Welcome. I have been teaching for twenty-three years, twenty-one here at West End High. I currently teach 11th, 12th, and AP English. I have served nineteen years as SGA sponsor and twelve years as a senior sponsor. I enjoy having the opportunity to work with this select group of students each year.
One of the most rewarding parts of my job has been working with the seniors as their adviser. I love being a part of preparing them for their future into the college setting or workplace. It is a tremendous amount of work throughout the year preparing for graduation, but one well worth it as I get to know each senior and his/her plans for the future.
My husband, Corey, and I have been married for twenty-two years, and we have a son, Ty, who is in the ninth grade here at West End.  We have enjoyed having West End as a part of our extended family over the years and look forward to our son having those same opportunities.
