The Spirit of West End along with the Gaston Bulldog Band, Glencoe Yellow Jacket Band, and the Sardis Marching Lions combined to form the first ever Etowah County All-Star Band for the 48th annual Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade in Gatlinburg, TN. The band was named BEST MARCHING BAND in the parade! The 195 students rocked the streets of Gatlinburg!!

The WEHS 7-12 Concert Band received overall Superior Ratings at the 2024 State Music Performance Assessment held at Gadsden City HS, including a perfect score in sightreading! The superior rating at state contest is the first since 1988!!!!
