Mr. Joe Payne

I am a 2001 graduate from West End High School. At West End I lettered four years in both varsity football and baseball. At West End I was selected three times as a member of the 2A All-State baseball team. After West End I participated at the collegiate level at Snead State Community College and then Berry College. At Berry we made the Regional Tournament in 2004 and the Super Regional Tournament in 2005. In 2005 I led Berry in pitching appearances.

My coaching history includes one year as pitching instructor at Snead State Community College. After that I was an assistant at Etowah High School for four years. I then found my way back home to West End. I was an assistant for Coach Chad Hall for one year and this will be my second year as a head coach. I look forward to another great year.
