The FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.

The Agricultural Education Mission

WEHS Ag & FFA's Current Projects & Goals

WEHS FFA Goals

The WEHS FFA always takes any opportunity available to help those with special needs. An example of this would be when the WEHS FFA built a special stand for ARC (Association for Retarded Citizens), so that those with illnesses who would otherwise be unable to ride horses, would be able to experience that joy in the great outdoors. The WHES FFA strives not to be just a school organization, but a community organization as well. As always, the WEHS FFA will provide food for the local senior citizens center, aiming to feed at least 45-50 people.

WEHS Ag Projects

The Ag class this year will be involved in several projects. For the older Ag classes, welding will be one of the most prominent projects. A fair amount of leniency is also allowed with older students who have paid their fees, as they may work on their own independent projects (which usually involve woodworking). For the younger students, the basics of Agriscience will be taught.
