Membership is open to any Junior or Senior and is based on academics as well as leadership skills and commitment to others. A student is issued an invitation when he or she becomes a Junior, he or she must maintain an overall 3.0 GPA average, based on 4.0 unweighted scale, as well as have an 80.0 overall average for core classes. As well, a student must be set to graduate with either an Advanced Academic Diploma or an Advanced Career Technical Diploma. Once a student receives an invitation, there is a $10 annual fee and for Seniors who plan to buy a stole for graduation can expect to pay around $20 to $30.

With induction into the Honor Society, a member assumes certain obligations. All Honor Society members are expected to maintain the standards that were used as the basis for their selection. Members must maintain a high level of conduct and not receive disciplinary action. As well a member must continue to be a good citizen and leader for the community in general.
